How did you get into FBi?
there’s a buzzer on the door

What's your background?
I started DJing around 1991 and played at underground parties as well as the Tribal, Ecology etc. warehouse raves. Also around this time, I started a weekly residency 3 nights a week at the Cricketer’s Arms Hotel in Surry Hills and hosted the legendary Sunday recovery sessions there. 13 years later, and I’m still there (!) sharing a Friday night spot with Simon Caldwell. I have done radio for a similar amount of time, starting out playing reggae on Radio Skid Row in the 80’s, Radio Dex on a Sunday morning, FBi the first time around, 2SER for a year and now here on FBi again. I have also worked in record stores for 10 years including HMV, Hum, Fish, Freestyle and Red Eye. Last year I decided to chuck in the retail rat-race and go back to study. My new day job is in graphic design – I’ve just started a new position and I’m loving every minute of it.
