Proudly presented by The Dendy, WALTZ WITH BASHIR follows director Ari Folman as he loosely recounts his time fighting as an Israeli soldier. One night at a bar, an old friend tells him about a recurring nightmare in which he is chased by 26 vicious dogs. The two men conclude that there's a connection to their Israeli Army mission in the first Lebanon War of the early eighties. Intrigued by this riddle, Ari decides he needs to discover the truth about that time and about himself. As he delves deeper and deeper into the mystery, his memory begins to creep up in surreal images.

Darlinghurst Theatre present POOL (NO WATER) by Mark Ravenhill. It’s bitchy, funny and to the point, a visceral and compelling play about the fragility of friendship, the morality of art and the jealousy and resentment inspired by success. A famous artist invites her old friends out to her luxurious home and, for one night, the group is back together. Having lived in each other's pockets at art school, they have shared exhibitions, drugs and lovers. But fame and fortune is a difficult course to negotiate.
