K-Oscillate (K-O) is a 5 piece LIVE energy outfit hailing from
Melbourne (Australia) who breathe life into the genres of
Drum&Bass, Breaks, Dub, Innovation and beyond….
K-O forge a high energy bond between skilled musicianship and fringe
technology to create an audio reality the likes of which have never before
graced this planet. K-O features Drums, Bass guitar, Keys, Soundscapes and
MC’ing with a heavy emphasis on MIDI technology.
K-O members are heavily influenced by the worlds of
Rock, Jazz, Funk, Classical, Audio Production and underground D’n’B.
The result being an amalgamation of mashed eclectic synth tones, dark
infused beats, mind slicing MC’ing, earth-budging bass lines, masterful
harmonies from the 7th dimension, rich soul vocals and songwriting of
transcendental magnitudes.

FRIENDS OF MAN

FRIENDS OF MAN is the music and creative force of writer
Dean Ranel. The music has a sound of early rock and roll, melodic and
thematic with influences of psychedelic and mod rock, punk,
classical and modal music.
There are two released works by Friends of Man, Songs for Humans
LP (2003) and it’s the Way EP (2005).
Songs for Humans was recorded in a tropical resort cabin in North
Queensland, Australia. It was praised as coming from the vinyl
record sound world of early seventies artists like Lou Reed and
the Velvet Underground, David Bowie and Pink Floyd.
It's the Way is a 4 track EP featuring the cool groove of the opening track It's the Way.

THE SUNPILOTS
|
Born into the Australian rock scene but schooled in the Caranatic music of Sri Lanka, Raj Siva-Rajah was a child caught between two cultures. Using his love
of music to bridge the divide, he began to develop a dark and obscure creative partnership with highschool friend Andrew Maitland. Thus began the “project";
and a love-hate musical relationship which continues to this day.
Raj's move to Sydney in early 2005 and the befriending of wayward musicians Bob Spencer, Gavin Collison and Anthony Soole saw the evolution of the project
into something more; cumulating in the birth of The Sunpilots.
It’s been a busy year for the pilots, having taken home the Musicoz Producer's Award (which will see them working with LA producer Roger Sommers for their
second release). Their debut EP will be released on June 1st through MGM, with the launch scheduled for Thursday June 22nd at the prestigious Vanguard in
Newtown.
